Samantha is an implementation scientist and public health researcher whose work is focused on improving health outcomes through practical and effective translation of research into policy and practice. She has expertise in living evidence methods and implementation, including living guidelines for COVID-19, and conducting complex trials in health care. Her current program of work seeks to understand what works for translating living evidence synthesis into policy, in Australia and Internationally.

Over her career, Samantha has worked across academia, policy and non-government organisations to inform practice and policy changes to improve health outcomes for patients in primary care. Previously as a Senior Research Fellow in the Department of General Practice, Samantha managed three complex trials and a national cohort study focusing on guideline implementation and evidence-based care; leading the participation of over 130 general practice clinics, 28 pharmacies and over 1000 primary care providers across these studies.
