Mere Naulumatua is an urban planner in Fiji. She has been involved with the Revitalising Informal Settlements and their Environment (RISE) program since its inception in Fiji in 2017 and currently also leads a team to prepare a climate and disaster resilient urban development strategy for Greater Nuku’alofa, Tonga.

She is an advocate for thorough and genuine engagement believing that it's all about community inclusion in the wider society and getting people to want to do the right thing because they feel being part of something positive.

A planning graduate of RMIT (1999), Mere operates a small planning agency and is the current President of the Fiji Planners Association.
